"I'm in a constant perpetual state of producing new music. Its been a lifestyle since I was about 16 and a constant in my life. Music has always been an essential thing in my life as a creative outlet and soundtrack to my every movement.
This album came very easy and kind of just fell into my lap. One day as i was organizing tunes that were close to finished it dawned on me that I had this collection that fit together as a unit. After this realization the next step in the process (which is the toughest part) was to finish each track.
To me, "Xtra Curricular Communication" represents a fusion of sounds, "electronic" and "non-electronic"....whatever you want to call it.... A natural progression in a direction that I inevitably see myself going towards more and more. This direction incorporates more multi-instrumentalism and recording of instruments. I come from a "work with what you got" background. Starting with one Synthesizer and a Laptop. My earlier music in "Born into Babylon" reflects this origin. As i grow and build my collection of instruments, knowledge and creative ideas I find myself excited by the concept of honing in my technical skills and gear collection to give me the freedom to record any instrument I want in a top quality manner. Ultimately i want to keep expanding the expression of my ideas across the board instrumentally and sonically i.e. Prince, Bowie, Stevie Wonder for example. The whole kit & caboodle. All this said my love for "electronic" music (Especially House<3) is undying and you will always see me pumping out a variety of different sounds along the way. The sky's the limit and Im in it for the long run. I build my life around my ability to make music on my own terms at all times. Music is such a blessing for me. I found my passion long ago. I can rest easy in that. Each day I can continue to do this is a gift. Thanks for everyones support along the way!"
